Nikola Tesla was one of the greatest Serbian scientists and inventors, whose contributions in the field of electrical engineering, physics, and innovation are invaluable. His inventions changed the world and left a deep mark on the development of science and technology. His legacy still inspires many people around the world today. The mission of the "Tesla Comes Home" team is to commemorate Nikola Tesla's great contribution to science and technology, as well as to stimulate interest in his legacy. Interesting monuments to Nikola Tesla are a way to inspire and remind of the genius of this great scientist with the vision that by erecting monuments in places visited annually by millions of people from all over the world, they pay tribute to one of the most famous Serbian scientists and inventors, but also a way to introduce people to Serbia, Serbian culture, scientific and technological heritage.

Founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1978, Avatar Company, Inc. embarked on its journey as a nonprofit sector consultancy with a noble commitment to advancing organizations dedicated to the well-being of humanity. Through its years, Avatar has not only flourished but also left an indelible mark across continents, including India, England, Uruguay, Italy, Switzerland, Serbia, and the US.
Avatar's impressive portfolio includes orchestrating multi-million dollar campaigns, enriching partnerships with PBS/NPR stations, and collaborating with luminaries such as Maestro Luciano Pavarotti to support his nonprofit opera institute in Modena, Italy. Additionally, Avatar has been at the forefront of nonprofit management education, providing expert instruction in certificate programs at two universities for two decades.

Halyard Mission Foundation
The Halyard Mission Foundation, led by John, a 25-year veteran of the United States Air Force and founder and president of the foundation, is a testament to the remarkable history of courage and cooperation. Serving as a U.S. Air Force attaché to the U.S. Embassies in Belgrade, Serbia, and Tel Aviv, Israel, John's leadership is grounded in extensive experience and a deep commitment to honoring the legacy of heroes.
Established in 2015 as a US nonprofit organization (501(c)(3)), the foundation's goal is to educate, commemorate, and increase awareness of the Halyard Mission—the rescue of over 500 downed US airmen during WWII—and the pivotal role the Serbians played in the success of this mission.
Working with esteemed institutions like the Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum, U.S. Army Airborne and Special Operations Museum, Pritzker Military Museum and Gallery, Battleship New Jersey Museum, and the Mid Atlantic Air Museum, the foundation aims to bring the people of the US and Serbia closer through the shared narrative of the Halyard Mission.
With presentations across the United States, including Washington DC at the Serbian Embassy and cities like San Diego, Phoenix, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Chicago, and many more, the Halyard Mission Foundation is spreading this significant story nationwide. The foundation's ongoing efforts, including exhibitions like the Cleveland Air Show and collaborations with the Ohio National Guard, have allowed hundreds of thousands to experience the Halyard Mission story. Atlas Bronze Casting
Atlas Bronze Casting is renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship in creating bronze sculptures that pay homage to historical figures and events. Spearheaded by Stan Watts, a Utah-based international sculptor, the company is committed to casting bronze monuments of compelling significance.
Stan Watts, a prodigious talent in the field of sculpture, has been professional since 1982 and founded Atlas Bronze Casting in 1997. With a rich background influenced by his education and mentorship under Dr. Avard Fairbanks, Watts has crafted some of the greatest works known internationally.
His notable achievements include placing George Washington on horseback at the Freedom Foundation at Valley Forge, two Abraham Lincoln monuments in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and a colossal monument of firefighters raising the flag at Ground Zero in NYC. Further afield, Watts has honored freedom fighters in Colemare, France, and commemorated significant figures and events, including Martin Luther King in Detroit and George Floyd in Newark, New Jersey.
His work extends globally, with over a hundred monuments placed across the United States and the world. At a special event in the Washington D.C. Serbian Embassy, Watts presented a Tesla Bronze, sparking the vision for a major, interactive monument at the Nikola Tesla Airport and the entrance of the Belgrade Aeronautical Museum.
